We are delighted to see our Bachelor Apartment project in Bankside featured in the January 2024 edition of 25 Beautiful Homes. 


This South East London pied-à-terre was designed as a calm, characterful space for a client who splits his time between London and the countryside. Kinder Design approached the project with an emphasis on layering texture and warmth into a compact footprint, resulting in a home that feels understated yet personal.

The apartment, set within a modern building in Bankside, offered a clean architectural canvas. We introduced oak joinery, muted tones, and subtle detailing to add depth without overwhelming the scale of the space. Thoughtful zoning - such as the addition of bespoke storage and a relaxed, tonal living area - ensures that every element works hard without sacrificing elegance.

Featured by 25 Beautiful Homes, the project is celebrated for its sense of quiet luxury - a hallmark of Kinder Design’s work. As an interior design studio based in South East London, we believe that even smaller homes should be crafted with the same care and consideration as larger projects.
