Stylish hallway with blue walls, zebra-patterned carpet, and geometric wallpaper. Open door, stairs, and framed artwork visible. Text reads "How haute is your HALLWAY?"

We were pleased to see one of our recent projects featured in Sunday Times Style, as part of their design feature exploring how hallways are becoming bolder, braver spaces - no longer just corridors, but statements in their own right.

The photographed project is from our Bachelor Apartment in Bankside - a carefully layered London home that balances architectural character with contemporary expression. In this space, the hallway was designed with as much intent as any other room.

Colorful interior design with ornate hallways featuring zigzag carpets, framed art, plants, and mirrors. Text highlights creative techniques.

At Kinder Design, we believe transitional spaces deserve as much attention as the main living areas. Hallways are the first impression of the home - and in the Bankside apartment, we used bold pattern, texture, and colour to ensure that the hallway design felt both confident and considered.

Based in South East London, Kinder Design specialises in interiors that quietly balance function and feeling. This project reflects our ongoing belief that good design is never limited by a room’s size or purpose, and that even the most overlooked spaces can become moments of beauty and intent.

We’re pleased to see this project recognised by Sunday Times Style, and to be part of a wider conversation around the importance of thoughtful, expressive interiors
