I am delighted to announce that Kinder Design, as part of our mission to create thoughtful and impactful interiors, will be donating 5% of our annual profits each year to Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT). This incredible charity is dedicated to helping people find lasting recovery from addiction and homelessness—a cause that deeply aligns with our values.
Our annual donation will directly support the SCT Restoration Station, a social enterprise workshop in East London that provides training in woodworking and furniture restoration. The beautifully restored pieces are then sold through their shop, with proceeds reinvested into SCT’s vital work. This initiative not only breathes new life into furniture but also empowers individuals with skills, confidence, and a fresh start.
Beyond Restoration Station, Spitalfields Crypt Trust also provides accommodation and training, helping people build lasting social connections and gain essential skills. By tackling the complex causes of addiction, SCT enables real, long-term change for those they support.
As a London interior design studio with a passion for sustainability and meaningful impact, I’m thrilled that Kinder Design can play a small part in supporting this important work. Whether through creating playful, colourful interiors or contributing to social change, we believe in the power of design to make a difference.
