Build It Magazine (2026)

We’re delighted to share that one of our recent projects has been featured in Build It magazine. The article follows the transformation of a former MOT garage site in South East London into a calm, light-filled family home - a project shaped by careful planning, close collaboration, and a strong belief in designing for real life rather than spectacle.
Working alongside architect Rupert Scott, we approached the project with restraint and clarity. From the outset, the focus was on longevity: using a simple palette of materials, prioritising natural light, and creating spaces that feel quietly functional and deeply comfortable. The resulting home balances modern structure with warmth, character and a strong connection to the garden.
What we particularly enjoyed about this feature is its honesty. It captures not just the finished spaces, but the realities of the process — planning constraints, sequencing decisions, and the many small choices that ultimately shape a home. It’s a reminder that good design is rarely about one big gesture, but about thoughtful decisions made consistently over time. We’re proud to see this project included in Build It and grateful for the opportunity to share the story behind it.
If you’re planning a renovation or new build and value thoughtful, considered design, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch to start a conversation about your project.
