High Rise, Croydon

Sourcing as sustainably as possible, we delivered an eclectic, affordable show home, working in partnership with our clients Brick by Brick for a third time.

“Leo went out of her way to source local and upcycled pieces and the show home felt both homely and aspirational.”

We needed to devise a characterful scheme for this 3-bedroom flat, and to source all the furniture as sustainably as possible. In our sourcing, we also wanted to support local makers and artists from Croydon and the nearby area.

We sourced a lot of vintage furniture and where possible re-used furniture from our previous show homes, but in different contexts to give the pieces new life and style.  Making everyday items unique felt important for this project too. So for instance, we sourced a new Ikea sideboard but customised it with characterful handles and legs from PrettyPegs

When we did buy from the high street, we were keen to work with fair trade organisations and those with genuine sustainable credentials such as OyOy and Ian Snow. We have also sourced accessories from Hadeda, a homewares brand that supports artisans from across Africa.
