Headteacher's Office, Chancery Lane

We transformed a soulless, corporate space into a stylish, welcoming office.
Set in a city centre junior school, we designed a warm and characterful office which provides the perfect backdrop for a wide range of activities.

““Working with Leo was an absolute joy. She listened carefully to the many requirements of the room and took on board my personal preferences to create a space that works in ways unexpected and delightful. Communication with Leo was always clear and professional, whilst also warm and human, and made what could have been a fraught process easy. Thank you!””

We wanted to provide our client with a welcoming office, that would sit at the heart of the school and give our client an optimal space to lead the school community from. The original space was white, stark, and characterless and we partnered with Phoebe Lewis Design to transform the room.

The floor needed a rethink and we opted for a deep red marmoleum floor which would be hardwearing but also add a sense of gravitas to the space. Paired with this, we chose a muted pink colour to saturate the walls and ceiling. Furniture was sourced from some exceptional suppliers including Haus and SCP, and we also purchased some items from smaller, independent brands such as Palefire and Studio Stanway.

We wanted to feature artwork by the students themselves, so we selected some pieces from the school art room and are delighted with how beautiful these artworks look all framed up.
