St Giles Tower, Camberwell
'Working with Leo at Kinder Design was a great experience. She completely got what we were going for and brought in some interesting ideas and materials we hadn't thought of. She was extremely attentive throughout the process, and really helped us navigate the project.
Our new open plan kitchen, living room, and dining space looks super high-end now - we can’t believe we live here! Leo's creativity really transformed our flat into something special.'
- Mike & Dave, Private Clients
Working alongside Morizzo & Co architects, we designed a new kitchen and living room layout for a couple living in an unusual round tower property in Camberwell.
When Dave and Mike approached Kinder Design to redesign their kitchen and living space, we jumped at the chance: they both live in a very unusual tower property (the curved walls presented a serious design challenge) and had a really fun, retro chic concept that we knew we could have fun with. The client's original kitchen was separated off, but it was important to open up the room to create a single kitchen and living space.
We have created a warm, chic space for both entertaining and working from home, and we have delivered this space on a tight budget. Custom Fronts were the right company to deliver on the walnut veneer and fenix veneer cabinet fronts. The kitchen carcass is from Ikea which offered the client some handy cost offsetting, against the spend made on the beautiful red Rojo Alicante marble and solid surface worktop for the cabinet run underneath the window. The walls are painted in Bauwerk limewash, which offers a beautiful, serene backdrop for this statement kitchen. The furniture was purchased by the client, and sits perfectly alongside this new kitchen.
